![]() ![]() Having graduated and set the company up, he then started producing musicals: I was at studying at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, which is a school Paul McCarney set up for training all the people that make performance possible, so got a lot of the production, directing, performing skills.” “I formed the original company Sellador Worldwide, once I came out of drama school. “My background is in musical theatre,” he begins. I’m looking forward to a return visit and trying another board as a family or when my son’s class are a little older.David Hutchinson, CEO of The Path Entertainment Group, talked to blooloop about the concept and its inception, as well as what the future holds. It was a great activity as part our end of year 6 celebration! The children enjoyed the game but they did need some help so I’d recommend that, if others are taking a group of young children, you have at least two adults on each team. ![]() The staff we met were very friendly and helpful at every stage including booking, checking in, during the game itself and also the person who, after the game, patiently took green screen photos of our large group so that everyone could fit in. There is a good variety of games and challenges and the time whizzed by and was action packed. The game was well constructed and the mini rooms for each square were well thought out and lots of fun - albeit some of them were a squeeze for our team of 5 so I’m not sure how 6 adults would fit in some of the smaller rooms. We enjoyed the game for a range of reasons…. (I did feel bad for them joining a big group but they assured us it was ok, so I hope we didn’t take away from their experience.) We were a group of 19 (which comprised lots of excited 11-year-olds plus some parents) and were joined by another, really friendly, couple on the board. People may not read all of this but the bottom line is don't go!! Go use your money on an escape room or bowling or even give the cash to charity it's not worth going here! The staff were nice enough but the 2 girls just could not control the Friday night party goers and just seemed to struggle to run the game. ![]() So instead of us doing a challenge room again we span the wheel and then ended up standing around for ten mins whilst everyone else finished there games. (free parking) and all you have to do on this is spin the wheel. When playing the game we kept landing on the same spot 3 times. We went in to three of the rooms and the props were broken so we couldn't even play the game as it was meant to be played. Such as count these up and work out the answer. The games them self out simple games a 5 year old could do. We started of by lining up and then being offered drinks to enjoy during so we started drinking and were told 2 mins later we can't actually take these in to the game so ended up paying like £20 on drinks that we literally sipped from.Īfter that the game started but the other large party was so drunk and loud that the games master ended up playing the teacher card and ended up making us just stand there till everyone was quite so we spent most of the time just standing there quietly until she could control the rest of the herds. This was awful and over priced from the moment go. All in all, a great set up and worth every penny. Was also impressed by the free lockers to leave your stuff while you play, and the spotless loos. I think this is a perfect activity for couples, families, or large groups - definitely recommend this. They were so funny and kept everything flowing along brilliantly. There were 4 teams on our board/game, and you do a mix of challenges or escape rooms - some harder than others, but not that difficult that kids can't join in and have fun too.īuilding the house/hotels was really hard, we only managed it because of the host helping us.Īll the other teams were really good fun as well, and the atmosphere created by the host (Iron) and helper (Scotty Dog) was brilliant. Each team is a group of 6, there were 3 of us, so we were put with another family of 3, and we all had a blast. Was almost put off by the price, but it was definitely worth the money, as you have nearly 2 hours of full on entertainment with 2 host/helpers with you throughout. This has to be one of the best experiences we've had in a while - really different and amazing fun, won't forget it for a while and will plan a return to do a different board next time we are in London. ![]()
